A VERY COOL CAMPGROUND
Lamb's Resort has the only campground on the North Shore of Lake Superior in Minnesota
with sites right on the lake.
We also have many sites tucked in the woods.
There are two beautiful beaches on our 1/2 mile of shoreline to which everyone has access,
and the property is bisected by the Cross River, in which kids and fish often swim.
We have primitive tent sites, RV sites with water and electric hook-ups, and RV sites with water, electric, and sewer hook-ups. (We do not have a dump station here). All sites have a fire ring (but no grate, bring one if you plan to cook over the fire) and picnic table (we sell firewood). There is a bathhouse with flush toilets, sinks, and hot showers. Electricity in the campground is 30 amp. There is Wi-Fi access near our office and Arcade (yes, we have an arcade – you don't have to tell your kids though!). Pets are welcome but must be registered ($10/stay), may not be left unattended, and must be leashed at all times when outdoors. Unlike the State campgrounds nearby (Tettegouche, Temperance, and Cascade), we don't mind if you have a bottle of wine sitting on your picnic table. That said, we are a family-friendly campground, we love having children here, quiet hours start at 10 p.m., and boorish behavior is unacceptable. Cheers. Each site can handle a maximum of five adults – some sites are big enough for two tents but some only have room for one. An extra tent on a site will cost $10/night if an adult sleeps there, we don't charge more for children. We ask for full payment when you make your reservation. If you cancel at least 30 days prior to your arrival, we will refund your deposit minus a $10 handling fee. Also: No Fireworks!
For reservations call:
If there is an extra tent, we charge another $10/night for adults, no extra charge for kids. All rates are subject to tax.
There is a three-night minimum on Lake sites. There is a two night minimum across the weekends on other sites. No fireworks allowed!
We allow hammocks, but have had problems with folks cutting brush underneath them. That is not cool, don’t do that!

Our North Park is within a stone's throw of our main campground, on the upper side of Highway 61. There are ten sites with water, sewer, and electric hook-ups and four with water and electric hook-ups. There are no bathrooms on this side of the highway, so you will need a bathroom-on-board to stay here. Cost is $32/night plus tax. You of course have access to our main campground and our 1/2 mile of Lake Superior shoreline. It is quiet here. You are flanked on the north by the Schroeder ball field (now a dog park) and the Schroeder Town Hall with a playground and a basketball hoop.
